A TALE OF TWO COMPANIES: Tesla + SpaceX SUPPLY CONSTRAINT ♦️QUESTION: Where exactly do you think the chips are coming from to support Tesla’s growth - that in turn leads to the projected many-fold valuation increase for RoboTaxis and Optimus? TESLA NEEDS SPACEX - & VICE VERSA ♦️Elon Musk said chip suppliers told Tesla they “aren’t comfortable” supplying the volumes Tesla requires. Terafab solves this constraint. Companies without their own fabs may be capped at ~20% YOY growth. Tesla’s Terafab investment starts with ~$3B in the research lab; real-estate filings show SpaceX’s potential commitment on the Terafab at ~$50–55B (with total project value potentially far higher). ♦️Wall Street isn’t going to rerate Tesla without the chip-supply problem solved. That anticipated run-up you’re waiting for? It doesn’t happen without the SpaceX joint Terafab initiative. Terafab rollout encounters problems? Tesla RoboTaxi and Optimus growth projections are negatively impacted as is TSLA’s stock price. ♦️Tesla and SpaceX NEED EACH OTHER. SpaceX is already beneficial to Tesla. The joint initiatives — Terafab, AI Space Compute, and Digital Optimus — offer upside that dwarfs today’s trajectories. 🧵Next: Delete the Process Step

@alc2022 AMD’s finally getting a re-rating pricing after years of being compressed while Wall Street only worshipped NVIDIA. Dr. Lisa was unfairly overlooked for way too long.

Lisa Su might be the greatest non founder CEO of all time. She took over in 2014 when $AMD stock was just $3 and the company was nearly bankrupt. Debt and operating losses were crippling. But today the stock is up over 130x, $AMD has record profits, and is now positioned at the front of the AI revolution in both GPUs and CPUs. None of this would be possible without Lisa Su. Absolute legend status.

I don’t understand Tesla owners who manually drive their cars when FSD is available, safe and super awesome 🤯 I see so many of them on the road 😱 It’s like having a smartphone and not using any apps 🤦🏻‍♂️

@FurtureRichKid Since many investors are still hoping for a deeper dip than today’s levels, I wouldn’t be surprised if the stock rallies sharply to $399 following earnings.

In fact, the deployment of Tesla robotaxis is slow, and there would currently be only 26 fully autonomous units. Could this be a sign of an inherent problem? Let’s be logical and pragmatic. It is clear that the technology Tesla has deployed for its autonomous driving (AI), combined with the hardware it is capable of mass-producing at the best costs, makes its robotaxi solution inherently far more scalable and economical than Waymo’s. The only theoretical question is simply whether it actually works from a technological standpoint. Since the technology is already working for 26 cars today, and there is inherently no need for hard-coded mapping like with Waymo, I see no intrinsic constraint that would prevent it from working everywhere. This is especially true given that, overall, there have already been 10 billion miles driven with FSD, with far fewer incidents than if those miles had been driven by humans. My conclusion is therefore simple: Tesla is taking its time to calmly put all the necessary operational infrastructure in place, but the technology itself is in no way the problem. The « slowly then all at once » will definetly occur, one day, and the robotaxi value will soon be unlocked.

@herbertong A shame that Elon will have to admit that without LIDAR, there is no safe, reliable autonomy outside a very small mapped out, fenced in area in well traversed metropolitan areas. After the SpaceX IPO, he will have to deliver the bad news to gullible investors.

@meccarchitect @_SFTahoe It’s a triple beat if you know how to read. Revenue: $22.39B vs. $22.19B estimated EPS: $0.41 vs. $0.34 estimated Gross Margins: 21% vs. 17% estimated

Don't just believe what management tells you on a call, think for yourself. HW3 is not FSD capable and not easily swappable. He said they are going to need to set up "mini factories" to replace. Rebate for a new car instead. WTF? That's not what they promised its customers. Payables increased another by 10 days 72. Bunch of one time items like tariffs. Much slower than forecasted progress. It was bad quarter.

I've got a few thoughts on $TSLA after earnings 🤔👇 Tesla just stuck it to every naysayer on the planet (again) with triple beat! • Revenue: $22.39B vs. $22.19B estimated • EPS: $0.41 vs. $0.34 estimated • Gross Margins: 21% vs. 17% estimated Right on cue, the naysayers are out in force — fixating on every little thing they can spin negative.🤦‍♂️ But and as usual, they're missing what's really happening here. People still calling Tesla a car company are simply not looking at the same company I am. They probably think the iPhone is still about “mobile.” I see one of the most underestimated, undervalued AI companies on the planet. I've been saying this for years, of course, usually to a chorus of "yeah buts"… "no buts" and sadly, people who are just being “butts.” So why is the stock down in early going? Oldest game in the book. Wall Street's go-fast traders have the attention span of a gnat and are using your excitement against you. We've talked until I'm blue in the face about using tactics that take away their advantage — and this is one of those moments where I sure as heck hope you are. How you buy matters a lot in today's markets... probably just as much as what you buy, frankly. Now some investors are pointing to Elon and the CFO's comments about a multi-year "big capital investment phase" — with negative free cash flow expected for the rest of 2026 and capex heading north of $25 billion. Here's what I say to that. $AMZN burned cash for years building AWS. Investors who bailed early because the balance sheet looked "scary" missed one of the greatest wealth-building runs in stock market history. The same crowd now wringing their hands over Tesla's capex would probably have sold Amazon in 2003. Contrary to the quarterly dice-throwers, Elon doesn't give a rip about sweating a "slow quarter" or three. Neither do I. @elonmusk is playing 5 moves ahead while making massive, deliberate, focused bets — and doing it while beating on every headline number. The margin beat alone should silence the bears — at least temporarily. Going from 17% to 21% gross margins while investing at this scale is not easy. It’s simply Unka Elon doing what Elon does when he's actually focused. Keith's Investing Tip: The surest path to profits often starts when the fewest people see it. When in doubt, zoom out! 😃
