@Lylylimia @bulimiarch I know you’re trying to explain it from another perspective, but the reasoning is still the same. They do it for validation and it’s hard to feel sorry for them or show sympathy because of the reasoning behind it.

@SilaAlor @bulimiarch I don’t do allat anymore man I’m just trying to explain it from another perspective 😭 if someone calls themselves fat they’re calling themselves fat, not you. People tend to just make it about themselves as if said person tagged them and personally called them fat

edtwt is a "safe space" until a severely underweight person experiences body dysmorphia and vents about it

@Lylylimia @bulimiarch Which is odd because your aware that your underweight, you know your not fat. Maybe you “feel” fat, but you’re posting it as if you’re actually fat. That’s why people are getting mad.

@SilaAlor @bulimiarch A lot of the time when I call myself fat I know logically that I am underweight but since I am not my lowest weight I have in fact gotten fatter 🌇

@Marshmallowcals @bulimiarch If they think others perceive them as fat, why would they post a picture of themselves saying it saying it. I genuinely do not understand why they would post it if not to get some reaction. No one is posted themselves to get bullied and validated that they are fat. Unless meanspo

@SilaAlor @bulimiarch my whole point is that a lot of ppl are not doing this with the straightforward thought of "I know Im thin/uw and I want everyone to tell me", not that they aren't looking for validation. Looking for validation doesn't mean you know ur look uw, yk?

@Marshmallowcals @bulimiarch @connectionfear It doesn’t really change anything because both are looking for validation, and I haven’t seen anyone use that kind of caption. They all say “I’m so fat”. They post it with a picture because they know no one is going to call them fat, but compliment them instead.

I don’t get it, if you can vent you can just type it, but why post it with your photo if not to get some type of response

My aunt who’s NEVER validated anything asked me if I’ve been walking recently, so I asked yeah why? And she said “it looks like you’ve been slimming down a lot!” Then I did a waist check and she said “okayyy I see you” today has been the best omg I’m so happy

I went to donate plasma today and the lady who made me get on the scale said “omg I thought you weighed less! You looked like you weighed nothing when I saw you” I was so happy at first but now I’m thinking does that mean I don’t look like I weigh nothing anymore 🥲

I post three lbs over night, I don’t know how but thank the heavens
