Private landlords that accept Section 8 federal housing vouchers but who refuse to make repairs after multiple opportunities to do so are committing fraud. They are taking federal dollars and promising to provide a service and product - a livable rental unit - and then renegging on the agreement and not maintaining the property. Those are the properties that would be su ject to seizure and there would be a process allowing landlords and building management to take corrective measures before any action would be taken. I thought you were for rooting out fraud and waste?
