In Atlanta, a lawn care crew found a disabled veteran’s home buried under 2 feet of weeds. His HOA had been fining him $50 daily for the unkempt yard.
The team offered to mow and clean the entire property for free. As they worked, the HOA president called police, claiming the volunteers needed a vendor permit and were trespassing.
Officers arrived, heard the full story, told the HOA to stand down, and let the crew finish. The yard was fully transformed — a clear win for kindness over bureaucracy.

Health officials are reporting a rapidly worsening Ebola outbreak in Central Africa, with over 130 deaths and more than 500 suspected cases.
The World Health Organization has declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern following the spread of a rare Bundibugyo strain of Ebola — a variant for which there is currently no approved vaccine or specific treatment.
The outbreak, centered in northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (particularly Ituri Province), has now spread to Uganda, reaching urban areas including Goma and Kampala. This has triggered serious concerns about further regional transmission.
Compounding the crisis is the infection of Dr. Peter Stafford, an American medical missionary who contracted the virus while treating patients in the DRC. He has been medically evacuated to a specialized facility in Germany, while his family and close contacts remain in quarantine.
In response, the U.S. has deployed a Disaster Assistance Response Team, is supporting emergency treatment centers, and has implemented enhanced travel screening measures to prevent the virus from reaching American soil.
This developing situation is being closely monitored by global health authorities.

A deeply moving story from China has captured hearts worldwide.
Ren Junjie, a 16-year-old boy battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma, was too weak to leave his hospital bed for his middle school graduation.
On May 17, more than 60 of his classmates and teachers walked nearly 2 kilometers from their school in Sichuan Province to Yilong Hospital so he wouldn’t miss the moment. They gathered around his hospital bed in their uniforms and took a special group graduation photo with him.
Ren was deeply touched by the gesture. Tragically, he passed away the very next day, on May 18.
The photo quickly went viral on Chinese social media, where it was widely praised as a beautiful testament to friendship, compassion, and solidarity. It has since become a poignant reminder of the power of showing up for someone in their final moments.

Rep. Ilhan Omar stays silent when pressed about her alleged ties to Minnesota’s massive fraud scandal.
Fox News Digital repeatedly asked Omar about individuals connected to the “Feeding Our Future” case and whether she had concerns about fraud tied to pandemic-era programs in her state.
She refused to answer and walked away without responding.
The scandal — described by federal prosecutors as one of the largest COVID fraud schemes in the country — allegedly involved hundreds of millions in taxpayer money meant to feed children.
In a statement Rep. Omar wrote, “Any claim that I had knowledge of this scheme is flat-out false. The MEALS Act was signed into law by President Trump and passed with bipartisan support as part of a broader legislative package.”
