@tysonmendes69 @edenianscar again i feel like a new player isnt going to care. If you just play the game through basic combos every character essentially feels the same. Everyone usually has a ranged special move and a close up one, and if you just mash the punch button your opponent eventually dies

@tysonmendes69 @edenianscar at the end of the day story mode isnt exactly hard. a casual player at most is gonna remember 2 special move inputs and then mash basic combos, i dont think they'd be finishing the 1st sub zero fight to then think "fuck now i need to learn a Raiden 0-to-death combo"

According to Creators, who were given information by BHVR, this Jason is an original interpretation sort of like Ghost Face. He is not the same Jason as from the F13 movies, and his lore will probably be changed to reflect that.

The Jason Universe brand was made so miller could lend the rights to other concepts to them whenever but considering the crossover is "DBD x Jason" and not "DBD x Jason Universe" it might literally just be the character

@glizy_goblin @EmpireEnemyy from reading into it, new line (and by extension WB) owns the rights to jasons classic image. Vorhees as a name and anything else such as pamela, crystal lake (anything but jason himself) is owned by Miller, with jason universe being allowed to use them with permission

I’m kind of bummed they had to settle for this version of Jason. They can’t even use the Vorhees name at all, let alone the Friday the 13th franchise name or outfits. That’s the main thing that disappoints me about this really
