@Investanswers @WatcherGuru We have to find a pro crypto pol of our own to run against her in MA, and give’em a boatload of money to get her out of that seat. Expensive but It would be money well spent

@saifedean according to the “eating cat food by 68” retirement plan template. I should have 55% of my portfolio in U.S. T-bill shit coins right now. I’ve got zero. BTW, my Morgan Stanley wealth advisor ‘advised’ me in 2021 to sell all my Bitcoin b/c it was a “scam and Ponzi scheme”…

If you put $10,000 into long-term US gov bond shitcoins 10 years ago, you'd have $8,550 today. If you put it in bitcoin, it'd be $1,700,000 The bond market is a way to bankrupt people who lend money to pedophiles to mass murder foreigners, enrich cronies & buy elections

It’s been 6 months since I went into the hospital and had to have fluid from around my heart drained, since my heart was tryna crush itself and kill me😭. Found out the Fluid was caused by cancer and it’s stage 4. Having strokes, blood clots, tired all the time. The next month, in December I had to have the same procedure done again and was hospitalized. I have been on cancer treatment for 5 months and I have become so stable and much healthier! No strokes or clots. I am able to manage everything now :) I of course have my off days but I am feeling so much better! I am so thankful for modern medicine and the doctors at MD Anderson who have helped save my life and allow me to live my life 💗 Fuck cancer, and I’m too cool to die rn

It is stage 4 lung cancer! NSCL adenocarcinoma. For those asking. It is not caused from smoking, I’ve never smoking nicotine but am a heavy weed smoker. Literally every doctor said the cancer I have isn’t caused from smoking and even if I did smoke I wouldn’t get it this young

@TerribleJyon @HistorianUSA1 Give it a rest. U don’t know all the specifics, and we live in a feminists freak show that hampers men’s ability to lead. All u really know is that he’s suffering, and on the human level, it’s awful. BTW, Nothing tempts the fates more than mocking someone in his position.

This one hits different. 💔 “My name’s Rob. I’m 51. My wife died in January from a drug overdose.” He drags these 3 heavy couches to the curb alone — the ones that “sucked her in and drained our entire life.” Then this big man looks at the camera and says: “I always bitch about how tall and big I am… but today it feels really fucking good.” Grief fighting back, one couch at a time. Just a widower, alone, finally putting the wreckage of addiction where it belongs — on the curb.

@marko_vukolic @w_s_bitcoin We need more guys like u, who’ve lived through a hyperinflation on BTC pods & in the convo. Q. Re. Venezuela: once the public notices high price inflation, Hyperinflation starts to hit shortly thereafter (in 1 to 3 years) Was that your experience? (UR chart implies this)

@bumlebi @cyelluzie @WatcherGuru Bitcoin is phenomenal & Saylor has been a great advocate But there’s much that can go wrong extracting yield like this. And a lot of unsophisticated investors have plowed in b/c of the 11.5% dividend Maybe just be satisfied with a 39% CAGR. That can get u quite rich in 10 years

@SilverBurnerAG @cyelluzie @WatcherGuru Just looked up your bio. Seems like you already like Bitcoin. If you feel confident that it can fulfill at least the role gold has been playing since paper money - then you shouldn’t worry about MSTR. My only concern about MSTR was the high mNAV - now I feel confident buying.

@HubbyWifeshubby @BoomerDivvies True. I don’t believe in inheritance tax. B/c it’s double taxation & they make it harder to pass businesses along to the next generation Inheritance tax is wrong, despite lazy people who inherit millions, hardly work and then attack capitalism & property rights 👇

@BoomerDivvies People are great at blaming everything on the rich. I have never understood this stance. And instituting a UBI is not the answer. Maybe in a Communist country but not in one that recognizes hard work and success. The rich (typically) didn't just step into their wealth

People love saying “eat the rich” while using products that were originally built for rich people. Air conditioning Dishwashers Cars Air travel Computers Cell phones Flat screen TVs All normal now. All once considered luxuries for wealthy households. You should thank them.

@BoomerDivvies We should thank the Entrepreneurs who build businesses, and teams who produce new products. And the economies of scale that make products affordable. They become rich, but rarely start there. So it’s the entrepreneurial class, their vision and drive to “get Rich” that matters

@BoomerDivvies IMHO, freedom is essential to happiness. And freedom is incompatible with financial dependency. One reason socialism-light is pernicious is b/c it requires theft via “progressive” income tax to work Of the U.S. founding fathers, John Adams, was particularly clear on this point:

@BCHL_Alberta @BoomerDivvies No. You’re paying for your government’s borrowing & spending. This invariably debases the currency. As Canadian dollars drop in value, you need more of them to buy the same goods and services over time. these higher home prices are one way u will pay for what ur gov. spends.

$ 2,204,800 This falling down shack of a house is valued at an insane number because of Vancouver’s RE market. It is across the street from the Starbucks I ate lunch at yesterday. Value of this dump in Vancouver: $2.2M What does that buy in your town?

@bumlebi @cyelluzie @WatcherGuru Yeah, provided it grows 30% in a relatively consistent fashion. Which it may do 😎 Or it might not 🤔 If not, then he either needs to reduce STRC payments, sell shares, or sell some bitcoin to raise cash. FWIW, I own some STRC & MSTR, and I’m not feeling great about it.

@SilverBurnerAG @cyelluzie @WatcherGuru If he and his stock owners believe that Bitcoin goes up by 30% per year and he is earning the difference between the dividends and that. Then what business should he put the money in to beat that? As Bitcoin grows the dividends become less of a burden. At least for a decade

@cyelluzie @WatcherGuru Because he’s now on the hook to make enormous dividend payments on these preferred shares. Where do you think the 11.5% yield on STRC will come from? He should’ve used his capital to build actual, revenue generating businesses before committing to dividends.

@Mike_Sharpe_ @BoomerDivvies The Soviet Ruble was backed by a huge land army, modern Navy, & an arsenal of nuclear ICBMs. Sadly, it experienced a 2500% inflation rate in 1992, making it worthless But hey…if the USD breaks, I’m sure FEMA will do a great job of handing out MREs & water Good luck with that!

I hold two investments that I think are overvalued and don’t deserve their current price. Bitcoin and Tesla. But I do believe they have a ton of support which can sustain their price levels, so I’m okay with holding them. Would you hold an asset you think is overvalued?

@BoomerDivvies Ultimately, BTC is a commodity. Like all commodities, price rarely stays below the marginal cost of production for very long. That’s why buying BTC at $64K was a pretty safe bet a few weeks back. buying today isn’t as good, but it’s still cheap.

@BoomerDivvies I use BTC mining costs and the power law fair value estimate: - Mining cost is currently $79k per BTC (this is an average of several data sources) -Power Law Fair value is $160k So BTC is cheap right now, & that explains why it’s gone up on war news that should’ve tanked price

@Mike_Sharpe_ @BoomerDivvies If you think BTC is worth zero, then consider selling your Tesla stock (Elon added BTC to the TSLA treasury years back, and it would blow a hole in the balance sheet if BTC hits your FMV) Also, what do you perceive the value of the US dollar to be? Or any fiat currency?
