I used some of my poetic skills to write a song called, Ones on the Way.

I am now a senior and my cartoon got accepted by the military and got published in Pacific Stars and Stripes

I just got accepted to the Art Institue of Chicago after 4 years of high school at Theodore Roosevelt High School

Returning to Chicago, I began submitting cartoons to magazines such as: Look, Sports Illustrated and This Week.

I just finished writing my new poem; Where the Sidewalk Ends

September 25, 1930 is the day I am born in Chicago, IL.

My editor at Harper & Row, Ursula Nordstrom, encourages me to write children's poetry.
