A lovely event, so great to meet Silver Readers and Silver Listeners and to see the exciting books that the school has bought. Silver Stories is such a simple idea but brings joy to all who take part and certainly helps children's confidence in reading.

@ClaireyAngela @SilverStories2 We too are enjoying getting in touch with our @SilverStories2 listeners. Our young people really enjoy reading to them for 20 mins followed by a general conversation with each of them. An amazing initiative to develop intergenerational links amongst the community

Eek! After a reschedule, we have made our first step in @SilverStories2! What a successful start! My amazing year 8 student has communicated and read two chapters of Edgar and Adolf and will make a weekly call! Can’t wait to arrange more!
