I love being able to come up with my own illustrations and creations and run my business how I like it. Being an artist is not the most lucrative of jobs but it does make me very happy and I believe that happiness is the key to a healthy mind and a long life 💛

With my business I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using plastic free packaging (made from recycled paper where possible) and I plant a tree for every 10 orders through @onetreeplanted 🌱 I also believe that art should be fun and I absolutely love my job.

🌿 Beliefs and Values 🌿 Day 3 of #marchmeetthemaker - I studied Environmental Geography at university and have known about the climate crisis before it was big news. I also work as an ecologist in my day job and have seen species decline first hand.

As well as worked on my USP (unique selling point - I'm an ecologist who is inspired by wildlife in my day job). After 8 years I'm still developing the brand and my products and would love you all to follow me on this journey! 🥰🌿🦋 #marchmeetthemaker

Hello! Today is the first day of March Meet the Maker and prompt no. 1 is "Brand Introduction!" So here goes - my name is Jess and I run Silverpasta Crafts. I make handmade ornaments (mostly Christmas ones!) and am a digital illustrator inspired by wildlife.

🐝🐝🐝 SAVE OUR BEES! 🐝🐝🐝 Since leaving the EU, our government have granted permission for the use of pesticides in the UK which are banned in Europe as they kill bees! Please help me by taking a stand against this by signing some of the petitions below! 🐝☠
