New industry tax incentives are beginning to attract electronic and computer studios looking for skilled workers. Smog and smoke stacks are starting to be replaced by semiconductors and room-sized supercomputers across the city.

@st01014 They definitely learned a lot between 3000 and 4! I also wish we could zone for farms/manufacturing/tech separately - something I really love about the Cities Skylines industry specializations.

@SimCityLimits Wish SC3U had the same per-type tax menu as SC4 .. So you'd just overtax pollutant industries and subsidize high-tech ...

This week ends with a fierce meeting in City Hall surrounding proposed developments in Geyser Park. Developers want to continue building luxury housing while conservationists want to preserve the mature growth forest. No comment from the Mayor's office yet...

Should we build it?

With industry expanding and research breakthroughs happening at the University, the city has been approached with an opportunity to construct the region's Defense Contractor. It's up to the City Council to decide whether or not to welcome this military entity within the city...

@TimLowe846112 Hampton's Apartments - I love the medium density residential buildings. Plenty of space left in the city for nature and development!
