@IdleAn94328 @abc4utah Mark, I think the former is in Davis County and with all such matters it starts with a complaint to the police whether it happened and they investigate such matters, gather evidence, and then forward them to the respective prosecutions jurisdictions/ offices to be screened.

@SimGillDA. I believe criminal charges are appropriate here and I believe criminal charges against SLC Councilwoman Eva Lopez Chavez are appropriate. Lawmakers make law and should therefore be held to a higher standard, not a lower one. Name a better way to send a message that violence and sexual assault are unacceptable and everyone who does it will face justice. Words are meaningless. Actions speak volumes.
