This miscast of Snape in Harry Potter is a good example of race swapping changing an entire story. If Snape is Black, despite books saying he’s White, then Harry is now suspicious that the only Black teacher at Hogwarts is stealing and his Dad bullied a Black kid by hanging him. This seems like a major story change to introduce the idea of racism, and it strays from the source material. 🥴

2028: When DeSantis ran against Trump I was eager to support him in the event Trump either dropped out or lost, but after going through the aftermath of his loss I’m not excited about having him run again. I’m 100% behind JD Vance and if he’s not the nominee Marco Rubio with only a slight reservation at this point. Would you pick DeSantis over JD or Rubio?

That was a choice, not a good one as Trump nearly lost to Kamala of all people. It was cringe and embarrassing that she polled ahead.

BREAKING: Acting TSA Administrator Ms. Ha Nguyen McNeill testifies before Congress that TSA is currently suffering the longest wait times in agency history, with callout rates hitting 40-50% at some airports and more than 480 employees quitting since the shutdown began. McNeil testifies that TSA has been shut down for half of fiscal year 2026, and $1 billion in TSA paychecks will be missed if the shutdown isn't ended by Friday. She testified that to make ends meet, TSA officers have been selling blood and plasma and sleeping in their cars. Some have received eviction notices, missed bill payments and accrued late fees, damaged their credit, and have defaulted on loans, but are “still expected to perform at the highest level”.

Yeah, I get that. A lot of people think this is what I was saying. But this is not the point that I was making. I was actually talking about the accounts that influenced the decision to change the new program which are large accounts based in other English-speaking countries that are making a lot of money, by US standards, off of the US audience and they started screaming about it. Lots in Australia and Europe, for instance. Australia and Europe have a similar cost of living to the US.

Now I'm wondering how much money people are making by posting content to Americans from other countries. That's my target audience, and if the income went away for me, it wouldn't change my life. I make around $500 a month, and I'm grateful for extra cash. But the screaming and crying makes me think they're making a lot more than me influencing a US politics niche when I've been severely throttled in that very niche and the entire US audience that I used to reach. So yeah, I'm not happy about the decision to pause the program. It would likely have helped me a lot. Call me crazy, but I think Americans should be able to reach other Americans first and we shouldn't send money to other countries so people can influence our politics and culture. 🤷‍♀️ Whatever, though. Luckily I have other sources of income that don't depend on whether foreigner influencers bitch and whine or not. I don't care if this hurts your feelings either. You won. Enjoy it, I guess. I'll stay over here trying to carve out a new niche since there's no room for me in my own.
