Who else is fed up with people carping on about pensioners owning all the houses and sitting on large savings? Pensioners have paid a mortgage for 35 years so yes,they own their houses. They have to live on their savings for the rest of their lives. It's not rocket science.

@jennyeclair If that’s Spanish bluebells then I’d get rid. Not in your compost either, council recycling of green stuff. I’ve had them and whilst they look nice they start taking over and crowd out everything else. If you’re keeping them in the pots I’d thin them out.

Excuse me - advice needed- bought a load of mixed spring bulbs for these three pots- tiny daffs and grape hyacinths mostly- they have been wonderful but now going over - do I chuck them away and use pots for summer bulbs or will they come back?please and thank you

Thanks to our bird feeder camera we saw this today. A rook attacking a feeding wood pigeon. Hopefully all the wood pigeon lost was a few feathers. I didn’t even know that Corvids attacked other birds but here’s the proof.
