@jordi_waks Probably a lad called Liam Henderson but seems a bit harsh as he wasn’t old. In terms of 1st team signings compared to level, Trevor Senior was a “league 1” (div 3) forward signed for the top division for decent money and looked exactly like a League 1 forward.

@louorns Biggest concern for saints (aside from finding a new manager as Tonda is toast) is surely how big the pts deduction could be. 4 pts was 3 per infringement but reduced for cooperation. Get pinged for another 5 and they could be looking at -14 to start the season.

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

@JordanWiemer Better thought out than most of the responses managers give and shows he’s actually thinking about how he’ll use players rather than picking the best 25 individually. Could have done with that during the ‘Golden Generation’ (TM).

@EStillsarmy @rio_woolf @wfcreza Who knows why they don’t do it. Plenty of valid reasons to stay here. It’s just whether they’re outweighed by team building if you go away. I’m all for things being done for fans but the number of fans in this case would be really small.

@rio_woolf @wfcreza Just depends why you want them to do stuff. I’d rather they do what they think’s best for the players in pre-season than something that they might think is less good for the players but suits a couple of hundred fans. I certainly don’t see it as some sort of affront to fans.

@JordanWiemer Not sure he’s lied to us about the playing side per se but what he says is pointless as he doesn’t call the shots and drinks the cool aid on the signings. Says the first thing that comes to mind which he thinks will put out the fire immediately in front of him without thinking.

@louorns @jasperiscool4 He does that because the risk/reward is huge. The legal team will be expensive but nowhere close to the value of having a shot at the play-off final, particularly given the short time frames they’re working to. If there’s even half a credible sniff, it’s worth investing the cash.

@Richwfc2 No manager with Championship experience has got us promoted in the Pozzo era. The issue, is they need to be the best man manager due to the amount of egos / personalities we have at the club. They've also got to be prepared to work within our "system" / structure
