When the govt, the BBC or whoever try to talk about how representative they are of the whole country, they mention every region other than the East Midlands. Derby, Nottingham & Leicester aren’t the same as Birmingham or Leeds or Hull. But those that don’t live here don’t get it.

Said to Eustace back in Nov -needed players to get the players practising the bounce. Offered my services & whilst he didn't take me up on that. He said he'd get someone out the crowd to do it... true to his word today & the squad know the bounce now!! #dcfcfans #bounce

I haven't been to Ashbourne's Shrovetide Football for years, so it was nice to go today for a bit of fun to test out some new camera equipment. Bumped into Rory Delap enjoying it for the first time - he'd have thrown the ball a bit further!

A ticket that costs triple what it does in France or Spain. 50-odd quid for a one hour journey from Harborough to London… And we are so rammed in that the disabled lady behind me cannot get to the bathroom…which was out of order anyway. What a disgrace from @EastMidRailway.

@Ed__Dawes The Leicester defeat always feels worse than QPR & Villa. Maybe it’s the missed chances. Maybe it was the Leicester fans over the M1 bridges. Not sure it was a sliding doors moment for both sides - the Villa game was. What troubles me more now is why were you wearing red & white?

Luke Saddington, who rammed two @HuntSabs vehicles in Notts in March 2019, was sentenced on Fri to 14 years for his role in a violent robbery of a couple in their Lincs home. Tried & sentenced in his absence after he fled UK. Still not sentenced for this incident. @ChrisGPackham

When is something not recyclable, despite it saying 100% recyclable on the side? When @AmberValleyBC says so, apparently. A first world problem I know, and not exactly Brum level, but they didn’t empty our bin today due to four small plastic plant pots. And they were a day late.
