@OW_Photography @CasegFraith We descended back into Cwm Lloer from Rhos Bodesi. This little pool is in the stream right by the main CL path, quite low down (not far above the fridd wall) and very obvious. It's just below where Clogwyn Mawr is marked on the OS 1:25000 map.

@CasegFraith @SimonPanton1 would you be able to direct Phil to where that pool was?

I'm going to watch a documentary about a lighthouse, I think. And have another can. It's my hour. I'll do what I like with it.

Pre dawn temperature inversion nr the summit of Pen yr Ole Wen overlooking the Ogwn valley. This was about 40 mins before sun up so the light on @SimonPanton1’s face is just the pre dawn glow :)
Will put a blog together this weekend of these images and how to plan for them...

@KevinASchofield More lies again from Starmer. Governs only according to the wishes of his donors. Disaster at home for the people he's supposed to represent, and supporting a genocide
in Gaza. Sickening.
English

Keir Starmer told the Cabinet: “The Tories get 96% of things wrong and focus on the 4% of things they get right, whereas Labour gets 96% of things right but agonise over the 4% we get wrong.”

Stunning performance by @_the_tubs_ in @llangollenfring last night. My new favourite band. Like the poppy end of Husker Du with a touch of Richard Thompson on vocals. Great lyrics, loads of energy, and funny banter from the drummer. Go see 'em!

@dicewright100 @ewangibbs Agree about farm workers, but self-employed tradesmen and small business owners are petit bourgeois/lower middle class. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a class description. As for public sector workers - they are too varied to be defined as one class.
English

@ewangibbs Rubbish . The working class will include farm workers as opposed to farm owners .Plus self employed small business owners eg plumbers &builders, many ex miners. Not public sector workers, they are by definition ,middle/lower middle class , even though they maybe born working class.
English

@Super_Charles @ewangibbs My dad was a farm labourer. He was working class, but the farmer he worked for (despite working hard and facing financial insecurity) was petit bourgeois/lower middle class. It's not an insult, it's just a fact, that's all.
English

@ewangibbs Have you ever worked on a farm, shovelled muck, rotting grain, bloodied your knuckles to keep a machine running, cut maggots from a living sheep as they eat it alive, pulled a lamb covered in viscera in the middle of the night to save both it and the ewe?
You know nothing.
English

@AjpOxford @ewangibbs Obviously, running a small business (especially a pub these days) can involve financial insecurity, and you might have grown up working class, but you are petit bourgeois (lower middle class). The people who work for you are working class.
English

@ewangibbs I run a pub, I am definitely working class and a business owner.
English

@ThreeShiresHead @ewangibbs Obviously they're not the same as the professional/managerial middle class, but they are petit bourgeois (self employed or small business owners). And yes, I agree that farmers work hard and often have financially precarious lives. Lots of petit bourgeois are in that boat.
English

@ewangibbs I come from the Peak District & despite being landowners hill farmers here are not remotely middle class in cultural habits, accent or dress. They are rural working class, in debt up to their eyeballs, working 16hrs a day speaking in local dialects 100s of years in the making.
English

@phased_bemused Annual population survey had it at around 28% recently.
