A vital ongoing list of the multitude of crimes committed by so-called asylum seeking & migrant men from illiberal, dysfunctional & misogynistic failed states. Our goverment continually puts British people in danger by allowing these men into the country.
Dan Salt@Danjsalt

I am going to keep a permanent thread on all the crimes and horrors of illegal and legal migration An illegal Afghan migrant called Safi Dawood has been charged with stabbing three people in London and murdering one of them a man called Wayne Broadhurst 1. bbc.com/news/articles/…

- Put tens of billions in wind and solar costs onto energy bills - Prohibit fracking and drilling for North Sea oil & gas - Impose a carbon tax 50% higher than California’s and 6x higher than China’s - Borrow billions of pounds to pay for a “cost of living bailout”
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

EXCLUSIVE: Sir Keir Starmer has been told that he may have to “rethink” the government’s borrowing rules to fund a potential cost of living bailout amid mounting concern about the impact of the Iran war on household finances. The Times has been told that there was a discussion about the government’s fiscal rules at Cabinet on Tuesday. Lisa Nandy, the culture secretary, suggested that they may need to be reconsidered if prices continue to rise and a major package of support is needed. Nandy, who is aligned with the soft left of the Labour party, has become the first member of the Cabinet to suggest that the government’s fiscal rules may need to be relaxed in response to the crisis. Ministers are increasingly concerned that the conflict in the Middle East will lead to long-term economic scarring and push up the cost of food, heating and mortgage payments for millions of families. The cost of food is expected to rise particularly sharply as a result of fertiliser shortages and the impact of increased transport costs The Treasury stands by the fiscal rules, saying they have helped bring “stability to the public finances, investment to our infrastructure and reform to our economy”. It points out they were a manifesto promise thetimes.com/article/83d4c6…

The Big Issue sellers I see in Woodbridge and Felixstowe are the same two Romanian women who've been standing in the same place flogging their magazine for about a decade. I heard the one in Woodbridge telling a daft white old liberal woman who gave her 20 quid that she has 4 kids and they live in a large rental property in Ipswich. The youngest has anxiety apparently. 🙄 Now I'm old enough to remember when Big Issue sellers were homeless British people. When did it become a job choice for foreigners in large houses that I presume we help to pay rent for, who shouldn't even be here because they have no actual skills we need? When? Why?

@anglopjdst We must say to English parents & their daughters, stay away from foreign (N. African, Mid East & S. Asian) & Muslim men, especially those who do not share our accents & are clearly not assimilated into our culture. They pose a disproportionate risk the safety of our children.

@aswren Everyone has failed to pay attention to the extensive efforts made by Ukraine to layer AD properly; men with shot guns, LMGs, AA guns on trucks, Gepards, EW, drone interceptors, nets, short, medium & long range missiles & finally fighters. We watched it all & did nothing.

Why the kibbutzim failed: "Historical social experiments, such as the early 20th-century Israeli kibbutzim, attempted to eliminate gender roles entirely. Men and women initially performed identical work, and children were raised communally. Yet over time, women gravitated toward child-rearing and less strenuous tasks, while men assumed physically demanding or leadership roles. Mothers rejected communal childcare, marriages formalized, and private family units re-emerged. Anthropologists observed that these changes arose not from male domination but from women’s own preferences." source in replies

I’m convinced most officials & specialists are too immersed in the moment to realize a certain basic fact about why Iran is striking the Gulf. When Iran was fighting in Syria & Iraq, its field commanders & their proxies (and their ecosystems in countries of Iranian influence) always promised that the next battle would be in the Gulf. This was conveyed, explicitly or otherwise, by Qassem Soleimani and allies like Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Hassan Nasrallah and the Assad regime. It was part of a doctrine guiding Iran’s regional strategy, not mere passing comments. (The same language that Israel began using against regional countries only recently. “Qatar is next” or “Turkey is the new Iran” etc. Iran has used that language for many years.) Now, Gulf countries look at Iran and wonder: Why is Iran hitting us when we tried to talk Trump out of striking it? Iran knows we tried our best. Iran’s action is understandable if it targeted the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but why mediators like Qatar? Yes we have US bases, yes we can scream at the US, but it still makes little sense, even from a basic divide-and-conquer strategy. But Iran sees this war as having begun at least a decade or so ago, and the Gulf states played a vital role in getting Iran to where it is today. The Gulf is the problem, not just Israel or the US. Strategically reckless, but that is the plain IRGC logic. This is clear if those officials had followed the rhetoric over the last 1-2 decades and the nitty-gritty behavior of Iran on a ground level outside Iran.

@MarcherReborn @jonburkeUK The solution is to outsource all our manufacturing to China, whose main energy source is still coal, especially for manufacturing...

Nonsense: 1/ Most of our easy coal has been mined. 2/ Coal burning is driving climate collapse. 3/ Our entire shale gas reserves are less than global daily gas consumption. 4/ Even with new licences, North Sea oil and gas extraction will fall by 95% between now and 2050.

We’re literally an island made of coal, floating on a bed of shale gas, surrounded by seabeds full of oil and gas - we’re being governed by idiots and the opposition parties are failing to hold them to account. A national disaster

@witte_sergei That air defence often being tank busting 88s better served knocking out T34s? Are we arguing however, that strategic bombing caused no disruption to German industrial output? Surely that's preposterous, it forced factories underground, damaged rail lines, disrupted supply etc?

The most concrete benefit of the strategic air campaign was that it forced Germany to reallocate fighters and air defense to the home front, accelerating German air power decline at the front. That matters, but now you’re basically talking about feeding bombers crews to the Luftwaffe as a diversion.

@nwnatur @khayerc @NJ_Timothy Agreed though as an aside, Rishi, wife & kids engaging in some foreign religious ritual, still demonstrate how compared to Islam (gender segregation and modesty headscarves), it's nowhere near as incompatible with British secular liberalism or trad culture.

Never has my opinion of someone fallen so far, so fast as in this clip. @holland_tom has been incredibly brave in speaking historical, philosophical and moral truths about Islam, at not inconsiderable personal risk (he’s also spoken about the death threats etc). I understand that his co-host probably doesn’t want to similarly be on the receding end of such threats, but throwing Hollandunder the bus like this leaves a bitter taste.
