Does anyone else feel a little guilty because you've been following/ loving pretty much everything Elon does for decades... spaceX, Tesla, boring, neuralink... But you've YOLO'd everything you have into $ASTS because it's going to decimate starlink D2C?

$ASTS - I still believe AST is one of the best asymmetric opportunities in the market right now. The SpaceX S-1 basically confirms Starlink is the main profit centre providing +75% of total +$2T total SpaceX valuation. AST is a $500-$1000 stock!

@CatSE___ApeX___ Hi CatSE, on a counter argument, the booster successfully flew back to the chopstick in the last 2-3 times without issues. Perhaps it is issues with their v3 engines?

Starship has a basic engineering design flaw that has to do with probability calculations. Failure risk tradeoffs between these two risks: single engine failure and fratricidal propagating engine failure And starship has a suboptimal design. 1/n
TheSpaceEngineer@mcrs987

Color-coding the engine config according to startup/shutdown sequences REALLY shows the impact of that single engine on the entire booster. 3 other engines failed to fully light before the energetic event.

@CatSE___ApeX___ D2D is one thing, but I have the up most respect for what SpaceX is building. Engine number likely due to a scalability trade-off, confident they will engineer their way out of these types of failures. It was a rapid flip for such a massive booster, likely need to slow it down.

Liftoff of Starship V3, from the dunes right outside the pad. This is the most insane shockwave action I have ever seen on video. Absolutely mad. 📽️ Me for @WeAreSpaceScout

$ASTS 🅰️lright. Full bull brained thesis time. Based on this update and everything we know about the pipeline, I honestly think people are massively underestimating how quickly New Glenn's cadence could ramp. We already know Booster 5 is basically ready, there are reportedly around 10 second stages in work, Boosters 3, 4, and 5 are close to operational status, refurbishment is targeting roughly ~6 weeks, and Boosters 6 and 7 are already moving through production. If execution stays clean, I think 7–10 New Glenn launches this year is absolutely on the table. Now here’s where my ASTS brain goes completely off the rails. My guess is 4–5 of those flights end up being AST BlueBird missions, and I would not be shocked if at least one of those launches carries 6 BBs at once. I’m actually being conservative assuming 4 sats per launch instead of 6 because the company already stated they could hit their launch targets with a handful of F9 launches and a handful of New Glenn launches to get to roughly 45 satellites. The math gets stupid fast: 5 Falcon 9 launches x 3 BBs = 15 sats 5 New Glenn launches x 6 BBs = 30 sats Total: 45 satellites That’s why this feels so important to me. It suddenly feels like both companies are hitting escape velocity at the exact same time. AST is ramping manufacturing, shipments, and constellation deployment while Blue Origin is finally turning New Glenn into a true operational launch system instead of a science project. Feels like the bottleneck between factory floor and orbit is finally breaking.

The FAA has approved our NG-3 report, and corrective measures have been implemented. Prior to our second GS2 burn, we experienced an off-nominal thermal condition, and, as a result, one of the BE-3U engines didn't achieve full thrust to reach our target orbit. NG-4 preparations continue—updates coming soon.

$ASTS weekly chart shows MACD curling up, heavy volume over the last three weeks, and the RSI getting back to breakout levels. Daily chart shows an undeniable reclaim of the bull channel and breakout of the wedge/flag. Main resistance in the short term is prior ath ~130. Ultimately, my lean is we head up to the upper end of the channel by mid June. *NFA

@thekookreport They are impressive, and they inspire me… I only wish people would stop thinking their dominance in launch translates to the same dominance in D2D… We know that’s not true, but for 95% of the people on X, this is impossible to imagine or understand.

$ASTS: 🚨FAA HAS CLEARED BLUE ORIGIN NEW GLENN TO RETURN TO FLIGHT Shoutout to SpaceMob community who's tireless research efforts called the FAA approval very early vs. legacy space consultants and industry "experts" who claimed BONG would not return to flight for another 6 to 12 months 😂😂😂
