@spacingrocket @TLPN_Official Can’t put 10k satellites in orbit without a rocket that can launch in whatever!

@nyoomtm @TLPN_Official love how falcon just punches through whatever weather and we barely blink anymore that's the flex

The Falcon does not waiver in the rain.
Starlink 10-33 lifts into the cloudy Cape Canaveral Skies this morning at 10:20 AM.

@johnkrausphotos @wxbrad Yeah I suppose it would be a lot of work just to save someone like two clicks lol.

"Jellyfish" cloud alert Thursday morning. The current time of the East Coast #Falcon9 rocket launch is perfect for a well-defined jellyfish cloud. The green area on the map has the highest chance of seeing it and is strongly aided by high sky-plume contrast. Strongly helped by plume illumination. Helped by plume elevation above the horizon. Rocket enters sunlight: ~T+03:25

@johnkrausphotos @wxbrad A cloud cover indicator/percentage might be a useful feature. Maybe you'd have to only have a local one since doing it based on user location would be a bit harder.
For example, fox weather predicts 89% cloud cover in the cape. Less than ideal for seeing our beloved jellyfish😔

Brad, this language looks virtually identical to my website’s prediction. The heat map is very similar too.
“strongly aided by high sky-plume contrast. Strongly helped by plume illumination. Helped by plume elevation above the horizon. Rocket enters sunlight: ~T+03:25”
This language appears to come straight from a jellyfish.johnkrausphotos.com prediction output.
While the tool is provided freely for the community (at great effort and time to create, and moderate ongoing costs to myself) in efforts to inspire people to look up and be excited by spaceflight, it’s disappointing to see it presented here without attribution.
Please be sure to include attribution to third-party resources, including the space jellyfish predictor.
Cheers,
John

Congratulations to @FireflySpace and the Blue Ghost team! Well deserved!
I had the honor of seeing this monumental mission lift off from on top of the VAB and it's an experience that will live in my memory forever!

Teams are now targeting no earlier than Friday, March 20, to roll Artemis II to the launchpad, maintaining the opportunity for an April 1 launch attempt. More info: go.nasa.gov/4utuo8B

Walked out to shoot the pass, saw the scene with the sun, and thought, how cool would it be if they flew right in front of it… a minute later, I saw the jets, focused, ramped down the settings to near-maxed out… which caused the EVF to go black. Tracked the jets blindly as best as I could, and sprayed right before I thought they would be near the sun.
From first seeing the jets over the tree line to this photo was maybe 6-7 seconds - love when photos come together, especially on accident!

Totally unplanned shot, but sometimes those are even more rewarding!

@nursedanakay @johnkrausphotos Hi! This unfortunately is a phone photo and would likely not look good in a full scale print size, but I'm sure @tweetsiphotos or @asherbphotos could help you out!
English

@nyoomtm @johnkrausphotos Spectacular!! 🤩 Can we get a print option on this one please? 🙏
