Or Black/Asian/Muslim staff to tell employers we are barely coping. I have always spoken of the racialisation of space. I imagine this week we'll see it in action as white colleagues&employers register riots as something external but w no real relevance bc it doesn't affect them.

@RCSLT is there a plan to comment on the ongoing increase in racism and Islamophobia in England ?

I keep on coming back here to check what institutions have said about the racist and Islamophobic violence across England … still nothing from particular organisations. It’s noted .

NHS leadership needs to support their immigrant workforce. People are genuinely worried about the violence on the streets.

Why do organisations explicitly avoid calling out Islamophobia? Language is important, and avoiding the term is part of the problem. Media rhetoric consistently paints Muslims as the "bad guys". This daily narrative impacts Muslims and contributes to the issues we see today.
