@joshua_pharmd Core Pharmacy training is Drug centered with some theoretical clinical knowledge Core Medical training is Clinical with pharmacology and therapeutics. Everyone wants to clerk, diagnose and prescribe😂. You are NOT trained for that You are NOT a clinician. Pharm D or whatever

A young lady came with severe right sided abdominal pain, has had episodes of nausea and vomiting, and there is abdominal tenderness and guarding Among other tests, a pregnancy test was requested, but she said there was no need for it as she hasn't had sex in months now but the doctor insists that it's standard hospital protocol and it will help in diagnosing her illness properly. She got really angry and infuriated and also requested to be referred to another facility. Do you think the doctor is wrong?
