Catholic. Washington’s #1 soldier. Overly invested normie. Student of economics. Serious and silly. Don’t call me Andy.

I will always love the small smirk that Obi-Wan gives to Vader here, especially in retrospect - he’s confident in death seeing that the twins have been reunited. He knows that they each have Anakin’s gift in the Force and that hope for the galaxy now lies within them. ✨

Watching this in the theater for the re-release was a truly magical experience The sheer rumble of the action with the sound was so good

@JadeAtrophis Seeing this in the cinema, where contrary to how Star Wars usually framed its openings and space battles, the camera descends and flys through the action, breathtaking. Today, we're tired of CGI "oners" but then for SW and cinema, it was magical.

Pearl Davis (@pearlythingz) has been visiting churches to ask the question, “Should Christian women obey their husbands?” After surveying a Protestant megachurch, Pearl conducted the same experiment at a Catholic parish. At first, members of the church formed a sort of human shield to block Pearl and her sign from view. We have to think of the children, don’tcha know? Then, the head usher involved police officers because members of the church *might* feel uncomfortable. Pearl moved across the street to continue her interviews. At the Protestant church, a white knight came out and complained, but at least in that case the police were never called. Regardless, it’s very clear that the contagion of feminism has made its way into every Christian tradition. That’s just reality. Link: youtu.be/m39367Jmwes
