Today I woke up to a text on my personal cell phone from Alana Burman, who works for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, insulting me as ugly because I’m Muslim & speak up for Palestinian lives.
I have not been in touch with Ms. Burman since my term in the NJ legislature ended two years ago.
How is the @PA_HumRelComm , as a civil rights enforcement agency, ensuring the rights of Muslim & Arab Pennsylvanians when this person feels impunity to harass a Muslim former elected official for my background & stances?
