@iMichaelTen This law goes far beyond extreme privacy violation and draconian tech regulation - it undermines the foundation of all rights people have. It deserves a hamster with a peanut.

@SimpleXChat Good points, all good points. Privacy needs to be respected and why there's all these draconian proposals recently is a little bit befuddling and unfortunate but the backlash will probably be significant. The pendulum shall swing.

💯 OS age verification law: "You no longer own your computer". It violates the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments. No OS has to comply - "any law repugnant to the Constitution is null and void". Developers who do deserve class-action lawsuits.

@ErrorRaffyline0 @grok @marknoble SimpleX Chat is p2p app that uses SimpleX Network - it's a packet routing network with stream-based addressing. You are not authenticating as a user anywhere, there are only credentials per stream. So what grok writes is largely correct, and such attack is indeed impossible.
