Here's a nice, neutral thought: if crowds of reasonable people are destroying and talking about destroying your stuff. Maybe you're a terrible person doing terrible things?

Here's a fairly recent privacy issue that's popped up - private retailers scanning your license. This has happened to me three times, now. Once for renting equipment at Home Depot and twice for alcohol purchases - once in-store and once during a grocery delivery to my home. It struck me as "odd" especially since I'm well over the legal age to purchase alcohol and I won't be doing it anymore. As I am a pro-privacy person and have not been provided anything regarding what information is taken through the barcode scan, how it is protected and how long it is kept, I won't be doing it anymore. We'll see what happens the next time a license scan is asked for and I refuse. I'm certain there are reasons (reduced manual data entry, proof of ID checks and compliance during audits, etc.) but am not a fan of the process so I'll refuse to participate. The first reaction we get from clients setting up crypto-accepting online shops is that there isn't a perfect solution. You either give up: 1) Sovereignty/privacy 2) Convenience/automation 3) Time/money/resources It's far from a perfect system - important to stop pretending.

Before Facebook everyone understood that you shouldn't use your real name on the Internet. It was unsafe. It was contra the very idea of the Internet. Even police in the early 2000s if you got scammed would tell you not to use your real name online. Now it's the assumption.

@rstormsf Avoid all digital projects for starters

I need help with new profit-generating ideas/projects/collabs beyond crypto. I have suffered from a creative block for almost 4 years. I don’t think I need to explain why. Obv consulted AI, I understand there’s a lot of untapped profit potential in the space and would like some human perspective. I’m actually surprised that my long standing project @multi_sender is still generating income, but it’s not scaling at the pace I’d like to see and I don’t have enough bandwidth to focus on growing it. I have all the infra and workforce available for execution. I just don’t have ideas for my next direction.
