@PlatinumAP I still hold out hope that pokemon turns a lot of D-max forms into megas. The mechanic might not be the best, but the form designs and unique moves were cool.

They also start you off with a ton of training tickets (I got 50), you get a free 10k vp from the tutorial. Plus gaining an extra THOUSANDS based off your rank by the end of the season. Unless you’re tying to build like 10 teams from scratch you’re good.

its a bit silly that champions is supposed to make VGC more accessible but if you want the best pokemon in the game you have to buy a different full-price game that has nothing to do with vgc and beat its grindy postgame

@burymeinpink_ You’ll find that one Pokemon that you’ll just end up loving more than the rest. Could be cause you thought it had a really cool moment in the show, came up clutch in your playthrough or you just really love its design. Every Pokemon is someone’s favorite

@SimplyPlatano @Woodlandbuckle But as I said they have to fit it into commercial transitions and TV time slots. There were also cut aways from the fight and stuff that padded out the time. Remove all that and it fits awkwardly so they have to either speed it up or cut stuff out to fit it.

@JackoVerde @Woodlandbuckle This fight as a whole is filler as it wasnt shown in the manga. Also cutting out fight segments (not even the whole segment) isn’t unneeded filler especially for like a 40 minute long fight 😭

@SimplyPlatano @Woodlandbuckle They’re trying to get them into cut down episodes for television so they can make it all as short as possible. I’m guessing cutting out unneeded filler in episodes meant they had to shorten things like fights to fit into the time slot.
