The state of my channel has little to do with the use of Ai. You really really want that to be the reason, but, politely, it's just blind hate. Also, some of you are just plain wrong. I'm getting threads of people relishing in my downfall over things they've just made up, lol

@CraftyMasterman You don't know if you don't try mate. I gave it a go and it didn't work. I'm not justifying running an experiment. I now understand my audience better because of it, which is a net positive.

@SimplySarc "A lot of people" that just ONLY listen to your videos is a minority. You built your audience off videos not podcasts, that's what your subs expect. Now is it impossible to make podcasts on yt? No tons of people do, but you did a hard pivot with no easing at all...

@Mathgeek007 @MaryThePr0ducer The truth is, a thumbnail is just a visual tool. There's no reason an Ai thumbnail cannot communicate an idea just as effectively as a normal one. Something isn't slop just because you want it to be. If it works, then it works.

@SimplySarc @MaryThePr0ducer Thumbnails are how you communicate to people that your content is worth watching. If your thumbnails are AI slop, people are going to assume your content is AI slop.

@iNkoR_the_2nd I can categorically tell you, you are completely mistaken. I worked really hard to come up with a fun script actually. I was really disappointed that people hated it so much, because I thought it was cool. But hey, if you wanna live in your made up reality, go for it buddy.

@CraftyMasterman Contrary to what you're saying, a lot of people have told me they just put my videos on in the background, so I figured the visuals weren't essential. And because, I strive to be a reasonable guy. A lot of the hate is bordering on unhinged.

@SimplySarc the lower effort podcast stuff combined with the ai thumbnails, combined with using ai assets in the videos now just show a downwards trend in quality and effort. and everytime someone brings up your ai use you triple down on it

@iNkoR_the_2nd Sorry man, but this is just blind rage. I've made... 4? videos with Ai thumbnails. Just the thumbnails. The content is made in the same way. But you just see that thumbnail and, poof, the content is trash. There's more to videos than thumbnails.

@Staladus Your brain pays attention to what it pays attention to. There's no reason an AI thumbnail cannot hit all the markers a manual one can.

@SimplySarc I'll be honest, the thumbnail is one of the main ways of pulling attention. When I see an AI thumbnail, my immidiate instinct is to ignore it, since I correlate it with low effort videos or AI slop. Doesn't help that it seems like you've stopped putting visuals and gone podcast

@SimplySarc The script I granted have no way to prove, but then what’s the explanation for these oddities in the voiceover (namely the crackly harsh tones in the first two, the jarring transition in the third, and the premature stopping in the fourth)

@TheWubbless @the_uh_crobby That's becoming less and less true by the day. People can't tell Ai images nearly as well as they think they can. I've countlessly seen real artists' work insulted because people don't have a clue. Now that's ironic.

@AlwaysAWreck Nope, that's completely untrue. Neither the script or the voiceover were Ai. That was pure human made content. Everyone just didn't like it and tried to use the Ai card for free licence to insult me.

@the_uh_crobby The problem with that is, is you don't actually have a clue. People are just blindly guessing something being Ai. For example, there are some very confident people who are having a field day thinking my voiceover is Ai, when it's like, dude it's exactly the same, wut?

@AlwaysAWreck Sorry to break it to you, but the human still very much makes up the vast majority of the content. That's the joke; people are confidently insulting me over things that they've just completely made up.
