मी आपल्याला एवढीच आठवण सांगतो. साताऱ्याला जेव्हा मागच्या वेळी आपलं आंदोलन होतं. आमचे बाबा गावी असतात. ते सगळी तयारी करत होते. मी बोललो काय चाललंय कुठे चालला तर म्हणाले आपल्या मोर्चाला चाललोय. कसला मोर्चा तर म्हणाले मराठा क्रांती मोर्चा. माझे बाबा त्या आंदोलनात देखील होते, एवढी आपली अटॅचमेंट आहे समाजाबद्दल. प्रश्न मराठा आरक्षणाचा असल्याने मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी हा किस्सा सांगितला असेलही. पण महाराष्ट्रासारख्या राज्याचा एक प्रमुख म्हणून आपल्या जातीबद्दल असा उल्लेख करणे किंवा जाहीर अटॅचमेंट दाखवणे हे अत्यंत दुर्दैवी आहे. याबद्दल केवळ शिंदेंनाच दोष द्यायचा की आपण परिस्थितीच तशी करून ठेवली आहे हा चर्चेचा मुद्दा. पण महाराष्ट्राच्या इतिहासासाठी हा अत्यंत धोकादायक क्षण.
