We went on a fab team building afternoon a few weeks ago. A bit of ceramic painting, which was so relaxing. We got our finished products back today. Here’s my before and after!

We’ve been updating our OT noticeboard. Hopefully providing seasonal ideas for activities for staff and students. Most recent addition is some OT tunic and trouser bunting made out of a pair of my old work trousers by my very talented retired OT mum @UCLan #OTLecturers #Wellbeing

Reflecting on yesterday’s #RCOT2024. I’d lost my enthusiasm and motivation for research but the research geek in me is feeling inspired and motivated. So much to consider in relation education - unconscious bias in case study design and AI to name just a few.

Social prescribing is gaining traction in primary care and traditional medical models. Gemma Bradley's (@OTNorthumbria) study found that OTs have varying levels of involvement but a positive outlook on the future alongside social prescribing colleagues. #RCOT2024

'This is blowing my mind! 🤯' - how we all feel after Professor Michael Rowe's eye-opening plenary on using Generative AI. A tool that can be powerful but only in collaboration with us (humans!) - don't ask AI to do the work for you, ask it to help you do better work. #RCOT2024
