This is Mr. Oyedokun Michael O., one of the teachers kidnapped in Oriire, who has reportedly been murdered. The video clip was disturbing. The first picture below 👇 was taken shortly before he was killed, while the second picture shows him in his Sunday best. He was a Mathematics teacher.
Fulani bandits from Kwara State, allegedly working with Yoruba insiders, are said to be responsible. I just hope the schoolchildren were not forced to watch the killing.
The bandits reportedly released the video to scare security operatives who are closing in on them. Their camp has allegedly been surrounded.

It is deeply heart breaking to hear about the kidnapping of teachers and children in Oyo State. At this point, insecurity is no longer something happening near us. It has become something happening to us, right inside our homes and communities across Yorubaland. Families are living in fear and are under constant anxiety.
South‑West Governors must strengthen and fully equip Amotekun so they can reclaim our forests, protect our roads, and dismantle the criminal networks hiding in these spaces.
No child in Yorubaland should be afraid to go to school. No parent should live with the terror of wondering if their loved ones will return home. We owe ourselves a region where safety is guaranteed, not negotiated.

According to reports, an abducted school principal appeared in a viral video pleading for urgent rescue after gunmen kidnapped staff and students from the school in Oriire LGA, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
It was also alleged that the kidnappers used her phone to record the video and send it to her contacts.
What is even more disturbing is that the voices in the video reportedly sounded local, unlike the usual bandit videos people are familiar with.
Some people are now suspecting that the attackers may understand or speak the local dialect and are hiding their identities that way.
Another thing raising questions is the claim that the kidnappers are hiding inside a reserved forest in Oyo State.
If that is true, many are wondering how they were able to upload and send videos so easily, considering network issues in such areas. This has led to suspicions that there may be insiders involved.
