@SilverCyanide2 To be honest I have wondered why so many Light and Medium 'Mechs have gotten melee weapons which end up being shorter range than a Medium Laser and do the same damage for much more weight. Adding a PSR in would make the Hatchet-Lights kind of scary.

Battletech rule update: A large number of changes are coming to physical attacks, many of which influence particular weapons but some being more general. Clubs have been improved overall, making this option viable rather than just funny. You do lose your "ranged attack phase" pulling one out, but you can now pull one out of more things. Another buff to clubs is that they now cause a PSR once you connect with them. This might not sound like a lot, it does mean that a Spider can grab a club, swing it and cause a Dire Wolf to fall down. Kicks are probably still better, mind you.

So I have an idea I’ve been wanting to try for some time. A vertical tabletop. Something that is crammed with platforms and landings with plenty of play space. Something that looks cramped, but I can reach in and place my models anywhere. Something where I can play an rpg, small skirmish or even technically larger games of 40K (I already imagine flyer or skimmer vehicles flying from platform to platform). I’m mostly going to be doing this piecemeal and slowly will add to it overtime, but once it’s done I think it’ll be a nice 28mm scale Mega Block, like in Dredd
