Huge difference between traders and long-term investors. We are long-term investors and can’t buy TSLA again until it offers a 2:1 risk-adjusted upside/downside. That doesn’t stop us from advising that TSLA stock is likely going higher between now and 9/30 as traders discount a 3Q TSLA delivery beat (our 3Q delivs 470K vs WS 433K est). We expect $TSLA stock to resume its fall in 4Q as the new more affordable model falls short of expectations and 4Q TSLA volumes decline -10% to -12%.

In today’s pre-mkt summary for Subscribers: Equities higher pre-mkt as a waive of optimism swept the markets following yesterday’s Fed decision to cut short term rates by 25bp yesterday and a dot plot showing two additional 25bp cuts (to 3.625%) by year-end; We expect TSLA to continue to rise into quarter-end as traders discount a significant TSLA 3Q deliveries beat (my 3Q est 470K vs WS est 432K) as U.S. customers rush to buy EVs in front of the expiring $7,500 EV credit on Sept 30.
