It’s hard to believe it’s already been 100 days since I received my Neuralink N1 implant. Looking back, the whole journey feels like science fiction that somehow became my everyday reality. The surgery on Day 0 was surprisingly easy. A quick general anaesthetic, a small incision, and the robotic system did the rest — precisely placing the 1,024 ultra-thin threads into my motor cortex. I woke up alert and in good spirits and went home the next afternoon. By Day 3 I was feeling a lot better, and by Day 7 the little scar was already starting to fade. Recovery was genuinely minimal; I felt sharper and more positive than I had been in years after the BCI was turned on. The real fun started in Week 2 when we paired the implant with my brand-new Apple MacBook (my very first Mac). The @neuralink engineers walked me through calibration sessions, and within a couple of minutes I was moving the cursor just by thinking. At first it felt like trying to remember a dream, but by Week 3 it was second nature. Scrolling, clicking, typing — all mind-controlled. The Mac integration was buttery smooth; I went from total Mac newbie to power-user faster than I ever expected. By Day 80 I was ready for the big leagues. That’s when I fired up @Warcraft of Warcraft for the first time with pure thought control. The first raid felt clunky, but once my brain and the BCI synced, it was pure magic. I’m now raiding, and exploring Azeroth hands-free at full speed — no mouse, no keyboard, just intention. It’s honestly brilliant. The freedom is addictive. The social-media side has been just as surprising. Every update I’ve shared has been met with genuine excitement rather than scepticism. Thousands of messages from people with disabilities, gamers, students, and scientists — all asking real questions about the tech and what it could mean for the future. The positivity has been overwhelming and incredibly motivating. 100 days in and I already can’t imagine life without it. The N1 didn’t just give me a new way to use a computer — it gave me a new way to live. Can’t wait to see what the next 100 days bring. Thank you all so much for your support and I will keep you all updated as we continue this journey together.

8,000 phones, $580 million frozen, and the FBI is rotating agents to Thailand FBI's Bangkok office set up a joint task force with Royal Thai Police last August to go after scam compounds in the region. Royal Thai Police have since seized over 8,000 phones and 1,300 hard drives from suspected compounds. FBI Deputy Assistant Director Scott Schelble says they're no longer just targeting individual scammers but dismantling the networks financing and sustaining the compounds, tracing crypto across blockchains and freezing accounts. DOJ's Scam Center Strike Force has frozen or seized over $580 million in crypto so far. The FBI is also rotating special agents to Thailand on six-month deployments to work alongside Thai authorities. Meanwhile, Meta just took down 150,000+ accounts tied to scam center networks as part of a joint effort with Thai police, leading to 21 arrests.

@matthewmaddock $2B will balloon to $10B then $15B after taking 2-3x longer to build than planned, and not enough people will use it at those prices versus just driving and having their car.

The leftists want an 80mph train from Ann Arbor to Traverse City. Cost would be 2 billion. Round-trip price would be $667 to pay for it in 20 years. Ticket price of 100 would take 1,000 years to pay for itself. Makes total sense.

@EZebroni Easy fix - setup a cronjob to pull the API data every few minutes of your cars, send you a push notification so you could drive out and fix the tire for the rental driver to keep that 5 star rating ;) 😆

Our Turo guest left us a 4-star review and marked “low tire pressure” as an area of improvement. As a Power Host, we know to take photos of the tire pressure before and after each trip. Before the trip, the tire pressures were all in range without any low pressure warnings. After the trip, we found the front passenger was low and that there was a screw in the tire. I happily remove the screw and plugged the hole. I didn’t even bother the guest about it. However, they left us a 4-star review. Nice.

On Monday, I will resign from my job as an IT executive. I’ve led a large team for several years. Soon after arriving, I realized the role was not what I expected and the environment was unhealthy. Instead of leaving, I chose to view the situation as a challenge. Over time, I shifted from trying to improve the situation to focusing on supporting my employees as best I could, often at my own expense. Last week, however, I found myself unable to protect them any longer. That moment came when I had to lay off an employee and friend of 25 years, with no involvement in the decision. I lost any sense of purpose. So on Monday, I will walk in and resign. I expect that over the next several months, many more will follow, though I realize the company may not care unless it impacts the bottom line. But my wife and family, my purpose, will care.

100% spot on, understanding one day Ai will outthink humans with more than just black and white logic, if that’s silicon or a hybrid using organic and silicon etc. but that day isn’t here yet and us humans will still make stupid decisions with false belief / hope / not fully grasping the current limits / pitfalls. I saw a comedian some years past (perhaps a decade) made a great scene of 1/2 dozen idiots in a group, but there’s 1 idiot that rises above the others and appears to be “smart”, but is still an idiot.

@iluvpcs Suddenly C-Levels think they know more than people who have worked in a career for a lifetime, because they read a book about AI.

Update on my Tesla Model Y saga, y'all ☕ Feb 18: Took a demo drive "just to see." Went home and ordered one like a man with absolutely no chill. Posted about have amazing it was.. @elonmusk and @Tesla quoted it! Feb 20: Order placed. Told myself I'd be patient. I was not patient. Feb 28: VIN assigned! I may have done a small victory lap. Mar 9: VIN vanished. Manufacturing gremlins won. Viictory lap cancelled. Mar 13: App says "Vehicle in transit." I refreshed it 47 times… patience has left the building. Mar 14: Finally an actualy delivery window of Mar 26–31. It's official. The car exists. It's headed my way. Meanwhile, my garage looks like a Tesla accessory warehouse exploded with more packages on the way... Damn you Amazon and Tesla shop! All for a car I don't technically have yet. 😂
