The most promising export categories for Kenyan manufacturers in the United Kingdom in 2025 based on in-depth analysis of Kenya-UK trade over the period of of Jan-Jul 2025 and previous years performed by GTAIC Market Intelligence Portal:
- Black tea (packings > 3 kg) exports from Kenya to UK of 67.48 million US$ for Jan-Jul 2025, the share of Kenya in the UK market is close to 50% (!);
- Rosesexports of 100.79 m US$ in Jan-Jul 2025, +20%(!) export growth in 2025;
- Artciles for table games ($22 million exports), growth of supplies in 2025 of +65% (!);
- Plants for perfumery, pharmacy, or similar use: exports of $6.46 million in 7m2025, market share in UK of 8,5% (!).

We can’t keep treating these scandals like background noise. For decades it’s been the same script “irregularities,” “lapses,” “errors” yet no one is ever held accountable.
Let’s be honest: no one walks away with 300B in government bonds without Treasury and CBK’s knowledge. That’s not oversight that’s complicity.
What is even more alarming is the growing numbness among citizens. As the figures become more outrageous, the public explanations become more casual, and the impunity becomes more entrenched.The theft gets bigger, the excuses get softer, and impunity grows bolder. Parliament and the Senate must step up. Why aren’t they over-sighting this? it’s only Okiya that has been consistent.

KES 300 billion cannot simply “go missing.” If the Auditor General cannot trace funds raised through government bonds, then we are staring at a full-blown crisis of accountability at the @KeTreasury and @CBKKenya Public debt is borrowed on behalf of every Kenyan, present and future. Every shilling must be accounted for. Article 201 and 206 of the Constitution demand nothing less than full transparency in public finance. Money does not vanish, it is made to vanish. Those responsible must be held personally liable. We refuse to normalize theft. We refuse to accept impunity. We will pursue the truth, in Parliament, in court, and in the public domain until Kenyans know exactly what happened to their money. Kenya is not a private enterprise. The Constitution must reign. We demand full accountability and radical transparency.
