Fellow Nigerians, Three years ago, on this day, I first addressed you as your President. I pledged courage in leadership, honesty in reform, and commitment to rebuilding the foundations of our economy. The decisions we have taken since have been difficult but necessary. Today, the signs of recovery, resilience, and renewal are visible across our country. In honour of this milestone, and as a precursor to Democracy Day, today, across all six geopolitical zones, over twenty groups of strategic projects in energy, health, enterprise, education, and public works would be commissioned. Under the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, four flagship projects today. FEMADEC Energy at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri — the first of twenty CNG refuelling stations in our federal universities. Portland Gas at Ojota, Lagos — a 96,000 SCMD CNG mother station, with a daughter station in Kubwa, Abuja. Ibile Oil and Gas, with its network of fifteen CNG refuelling stations across Lagos State. And Rolling Energy at Jahi, Abuja — anchoring a portfolio of seventeen RLNG and LCNG facilities across Kaduna, Kano and Borno. Together, these projects will lower transport costs, expand cleaner energy, and strengthen our energy sovereignty. In the health sector, thirteen new projects today across all six zones — every one of them ribbon-cut on the ground today. Six new facilities at our federal teaching hospitals: the President Bola Tinubu Complex at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja; the Trauma Centre Pharmacy Quality Control Laboratory at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria; the Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology Centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi; the new Mental Health Complex at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital; the new Administrative Complex at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu; and the Laboratory Complex at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. Also commissioned are the State Emergency Operations Centres in Kano, Sokoto and Katsina; the newly constructed Lagos Vaccine Hub in Oshodi; and the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System fleet — one hundred and forty-five tricycle ambulances, six boat ambulances, and seventy-nine new ambulances for our federal hospitals. Two revitalised primary health centres at Gadon Kaya in Kano and Aboh in Delta State. These two stand for the almost three thousand primary health centres our administration has revitalised under the IMPACT programme over the last two years, alongside twenty-seven equipped Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care sites, one thousand six hundred and two revitalised Level 1 facilities, and one thousand three hundred and sixty revitalised Level 2 facilities, together bringing quality care closer to ordinary Nigerians in every zone. Alongside these, the new SMEDAN Industrial Development Centre at Ikorodu, Lagos, and additional projects in education and public works being delivered across the country. These projects are not ceremonial symbols. They are evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is being felt in homes, businesses, schools and hospitals across our federation. Today is the commemoration of our inauguration. It is not a day for long speeches. On June 12, our Democracy Day, we will present our full scorecard to Nigerians. And so, by the authority vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I hereby declare all these projects — across our health system, our energy infrastructure, our enterprise, our education and our public works — duly commissioned, and dedicated to the service of the Nigerian people. The work continues. The reforms continue. And our resolve remains unshaken. Thank you, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Trying to understand what Tinubu said or is saying and trying to make sense out of it could make someone run mad, go insane completely. Was it not just few weeks ago that he went to the CEO Forum in Kenya to spew rubbish and gibberish. We're still struggling to make sense of all he said there, and now his interview on "Insecurity is a matter of Law". Tinubu might be in a stage just like Paul Biya where he no longer realise things happening around him.

@iamHSDickson We need a powerful spokesperson ASAP. x.com/i/status/20592…
PIDOMNIGERIA@UNOFFICIALFACT

Dear NDC @NigeriaNDCHQ, you need a fearless spokesperson. An Articulate, bold, eloquent, and intelligent spokesman who can look at the INEC chairman on his face, and address his shenanigans. A spokesman who can call Tinubu who and what he is (Mr failure personified) A spokesman who can boldly and fearlessly talk about insecurity in the country, and also challenge the economic and poverty situation in Nigeria. A spokesman who can defend the NDC in public without looking at the books. A spokesman who can call the government in power and the opposition to order. A spokesman who can handle the media and publicity wing of the NDC properly. A spokesman who can fight dirty online and offline, even on the mainstream and print media to dispel fake news, misinformation and disinformation against the NDC. We need this spokesperson ASAP, and we need him fast. INEC is currently in bed with the APC and the government in power. Someone needs to call out their shenanigans in public. Please share this message and tag NDC leadership until they act.

After extensive hours of deliberations yesterday, which lasted till this morning, and in the company of the National Chairman of our party, our presidential aspirant, His Excellency Peter Obi, and other key members of the National Working Committee and Selection Committee, we received the report of the Screening Committee led by His Excellency, Sam Egwu. We thank the committee for its painstaking work, which lasted almost a week, especially in handling the staggering number of aspirants that far exceeded our expectations. We also thank all the aspirants for their confidence in the NDC, as well as those who made donations to the party and chose our platform to express their political ambitions across the country. Their numbers run into thousands, and we wish them the very best. Following a briefing at the joint meeting of the Selection Committee and the Screening Committee, and in view of the constraints of time, it was decided that all those who purchased Expression of Interest Forms would be allowed to participate in the primaries in their various constituencies. Only successful candidates will report to the party secretariat for documentation and, in the process, pay for nomination forms and complete other necessary forms. The teams for the primaries have been selected, comprising senior officials of the party, and have been deployed to every state to conduct the exercise with the support of stakeholders and local leaders. We wish them success in this important assignment. Our party is women- and youth-friendly, and we urge the teams to pay attention to aspirants with the capacity to win elections. They should liaise with stakeholders and remain open and fair in protecting the interests of all aspirants because, at the end of the day, we are a platform for everyone. We call for violence-free primaries and reiterate our zero tolerance for violent behaviour. The party will take serious action against anyone who resorts to violence, threats, intimidation, or disorderly conduct. As a result of the tight timelines we are working with, aspirants are expected to proceed with the primaries from tomorrow, 28th and 29th May 2026, using their Expression of Interest Forms to enable them participate. An Appeal Panel will also be inaugurated to look into complaints that may arise during the process. Note that, in line with the party guidelines, the primaries will be conducted through direct primaries at the constituency level for State Assembly positions, while House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential affirmations will take place at the various Local Government Headquarters. Final results will be announced at the party’s National Secretariat by the Selection Committee and the NEC. We strongly recommend consensus where necessary. We call for understanding and support because of the limited time available, which made it impossible for the party to fully implement the electronic system we had designed for all party primaries and congresses. As I said at the dinner with aspirants, this will be the last primary election in the NDC to be conducted manually. We understand that the manual process may not be perfect due to time constraints and logistical challenges, and we ask everyone to bear with us. Our intentions are sincere, and future primaries will be conducted electronically to minimise complaints and other challenges. Finally, we urge the teams to be fair to all aspirants, collaborate with stakeholders and interest groups, and work closely with INEC and security agencies to ensure a peaceful, credible, and transparent process. Bear with us and join us as we strive to build an enduring modern political institution, not a special-purpose vehicle for any individual political interest, but a party that will outlast all of us. NDC — Service! ~HSD

@SirDavidBent 2023, INEC claimed it had glitches and subsequently announced a fake presidential result. The effect of that result has been pain, sorrow and death to lot of Nigerians. Even painful again, some have forgotten history and still clamour for Tpain today.

Today, I participated in the APC Presidential Direct Primary at my ward in Ikoyi, Lagos, alongside my dear wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON. Democracy is not sustained by noise, speculation, or borrowed platforms. It is sustained by citizens who show up, party members who believe, institutions that endure, the grassroots, and a political family rooted in the people. The APC remains focused, organised and deeply grounded across Nigeria. Others may gather around grievance. We gather around structure, service, and the work of nation-building. Together, we will continue to renew hope, strengthen our democracy, and build a stronger Nigeria for all. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Federal Republic of Nigeria

"If one person in ADC leaves ADC tonight and joins another political party, the chairmanship tussle currently shattering the party will die a natural death" I said this on the 1st of April 2026, dates don't lie. Today how far? Is Bala Nafiu Gombe still fighting over the ADC chairmanship again? Are they still contesting over resignation and no resignation letter? Are Nigerians still seeing Bala Gombe on television as we use to before? What is the current nature of the case in court today? It has been surprisinly adjourned indefinitely. There is No date or time to return to the case for now. With all these, It is now crystal clear that some agents of this current Tinubu's Government, and their devilish APC political party were fuelling the chairmanship crisis in ADC. Their target was no other person than PETER OBI. Same old Labour Party (LP) playbook. But thank God Obi dodged their motherfucking bullet, and eventually beat them to their own game. A very big shame on our judiciary for being a willing tool in the destruction of our democracy. Meanwhile fellow Nigerians of good conscience, braze up for any eventualities, and be prepared to face it head on. APC's only available weapon today is mass intimidation, vote manipulation and outright rigging. We must not allow them. We must beat them to their own game in 2027, and we are not going to any court or useless election petition tribunal. Everything must start and finish on the field, on election day. There is no monopoly to madness. APC nationwide primaries is an eye opener to the bigger picture of what to expect in 2027. Be wise and be ready. Share this message aggressively.

If one person in ADC leaves ADC tonight, and joins another political party, the chairmanship tussle currently shattering the party will die a natural death. The new factional chairman Bala Nafiu will reaffirm the truth that he has long resigned from ADC.

Yesterday, May 19th, in Abuja, I attended the Presidential screening organised by our party, which took over two and a half hours. They carefully reviewed all my documents, including my degree certificates, NYSC credentials, and age declarations. During the process, I also addressed questions regarding my vision for a new Nigeria and the type of leadership our nation urgently needs right now. Following this, I was cleared and received the presidential nomination form I had previously paid for. I would like to commend the screening committee, led by former governor Sam Egwu, for their thorough and professional approach. Additionally, I appreciate our party's leadership for upholding the democratic process. A New Nigeria is POssible. - PO
