@allisonoconn I also questioned a lot of things during my own pregnancy as an OBGYN attending, but prenatal care has definitely improved maternal and infant outcomes...

Obstetrics has the least evidence-based medicine out of any medical field and we should never label a woman as “non-compliant” when they refuse prenatal care that has never been demonstrated to improve outcomes.
