@RealtyStacker @money_cruncher That's just an optical illusion. Selling shares of VTI is no different than a REIT not appreciating in value. The end result is the same. Except VTI has better returns.

"I inherited $1M at 30, what should I do?" I would: 1. Set aside 6-12 months of emergency funds in a MMF 2. Pay off any debt with interest of 7%+ 3. Invest the rest in $VTI What would you do?

@money_cruncher 1M into Realty Income $O would give you $4362 every month for the rest of your life. Take that to build your emergency fund, pay off debt and then Invest what's left over. You won't ever have to touch your principal.

Spent $3998.98 total to have 96gb of VRAM using AMD's AI Pro R9700 Cards. (brand new) Comparatively I had spent $1520.00 on two used RX 7900 XTX's for 48gb of VRAM. If ur team RED, a single XTX is CHEAPER than a RTX 3090. Should I have bought a Mac or DGX Spark instead?

As a lifelong gamer, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to push gaming experiences forward across CPUs, GPUs, software, and games. My team and I have been working hard to evolve @AMD FSR 4 and bring it to more cards. We power over 1 billion gaming devices worldwide. It’s a responsibility we care deeply about. 🎮 This July, RDNA 3 players will experience FSR Upscaling 4.1, delivering sharper visuals and smoother gameplay than ever before. I’m grateful to our fans. Your enthusiasm and ideas inspire us to keep pushing gaming forward. FSR Upscaling 4.1 on RDNA 3 will be ready out of the box for Radeon 7000 Series players in over 300 supported games at launch. And for our RDNA 2 players, we have something exciting coming in early 2027. FSR Upscaling 4.1 will be coming to your cards as well, bringing sharper visuals and smoother gameplay to even more gamers. We cannot wait to show you what is next. Stay tuned 🚀

@HotAisle Removing weights makes the models worse. You might get lucky and the pruning (REAP) may miss the important bits for your usecase, but the general usefulness of the model diminishes. Also SOTA models are growing, not getting smaller. So you're absolutely right.

@JerryCap @merissahansen17 @grok I've been to datacenters, and while they are loud inside, they are quiet on the outside. This sounds like the gas turbines needed to power them. They will get more quiet as the power grid gets built out. Gas turbines are an interim solution.

This is what it sounds like living next to a data center. The video below was recorded at midnight, and the data center is situated next to 100s of residential homes.

$AMD CEO: "Data Center is now the primary driver of our revenue and earnings growth. As AI adoption scales, demand is increasing not only for accelerators, but also for the high-performance CPUs that power and orchestrate those workloads...data center revenue increased 57% year over year to a record $5.8 billion, led by strong demand for our EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs...Gross margin was 55%, up 170 basis points versus a year ago, driven by a favorable product mix, including a higher data center revenue contribution."

AI adoption shouldn’t require rebuilding your data center. AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe GPUs are designed to deliver production AI inference performance in standard air-cooled servers, helping enterprises scale AI with existing infrastructure. Learn more: bit.ly/48Hxfl4

Don’t just scale AI. Scale ROI. AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe cards deliver 144 GB of HBM3E memory and up to 2299 teraFLOPS (at MXFP4) in a drop-in, air-cooled card built for standard servers. That’s how you scale AI at maximum ROI without redesigning your data center. Interested in drop-in AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe cards? See the specs at the link: bit.ly/4exiAg2

@VeeEyeEll @Sean14978416 Nvidia is "overclocking" HBM4 in Rubin by more than 50% from the original spec. That can mean 2x the power consumption. This is in line with what you can expect when you try to do that.
