Here's a custom collectible I've made with #SceneGraph and some Niagara math👀 The crystals home into the player after collecting it! In multiplayer, it shows the effect only to the local player. Hopefully SetPresentable doesn't break in the future😭 #UEFN

@SitkaCreative That could be on button mesh using the button param itself and a sprite material (fully automatic, avoiding needing niagara or other external setups)

@Jakkofn You asked if the custom buttons worked with a controller—I just tested it out and they work perfectly! 🎮✨

@Jakkofn I'll test on the controller tomorrow, but I believe that by using the option to focus on the "Claim Rewards" button I won't have any problems with interference. 🤔

@SitkaCreative Does this work on controller? I noticed the dreaded burger menu at the top right which usually interferes with controller

Finally nailed the "Claim" button for my Daily Rewards UI! 🏆 Just added some satisfying VFX to the 'Claim' button; it really brings the map to life and I can't wait for you all to play it! It's not ready yet. #Fortnite #UEFN #FallGuys #VFX

@SitkaCreative VAT for collectibles is seriously underused. Per-mesh vertex animation is usually 3-5x cheaper than skeletal for the same visual result, which matters a lot for maps pushing 50+ pickups on screen. Sharing this!

@SitkaCreative I love vats! I just wish it wasn't such a hassle to make them in UE and then import to UEFN, don't get me started on the material node conversions to make it all validate haha
