Researchers at the non-profit org called Pregnancy Justice report that in the last two years authorities have arrested at least 412 women for suffering miscarriages due to bans on abortion.
The same people championing abortion bans and prosecution of American women for miscarriages also claim bombing Iran liberates Iranian women.
Make no mi stake: Whether in the USA or Iran, they were never about liberating women—but about controlling them with force and violence.

In his remarks in UN SecCouncil, US Dep Secty of State Landau blames the "UN" for not ending Russia's war in Ukraine, referring to the parties as "belligerents" [Avoids saying the "UN Security Council," not the UN generally, that is failing. Doesn't say that Russia is blocking attempts in the UNSC to end the war]

🚨Schools have reopened across Afghanistan for boys at all levels, but girls remain banned from attending school beyond grade 6 and from universities for the fifth year.😡
In case you were wondering: the Taliban leaders send their daughters to fancy schools in Qatar and Pakistan.
“Just for the record do your two daughters go to school?
Head of Taliban Office in Qatar - Of course they do.
This sums it all up. For their own daughters nothing is forbidden while for poor girls living in Afghanistan everything is forbidden.

Well, when a child is conceived, the DNA split is 50/50 from both parents. Except for one small detail: mitochondrial DNA. It’s passed down only through the mother and never through sperm.
Which means something interesting: all living humans can trace their mitochondrial line back to one woman, not one man.
And every daughter born continues passing that same line forward.
Happy Women’s Day 💐

Behind every economy lies a hidden system of care.
In Malaysia, unpaid care labour, often carried out by women within families and communities has long sustained the economy without recognition or reward. Yet as policies begin to frame care as a profitable economic sector, this essential work is increasingly treated as an untapped resource for capital accumulation.
Our Deputy Director of Research, Dr. Christopher Choong Weng Wai, cautions that redefining care as a commodity risks deepening inequalities and detaching policy from the lived realities of carers. He argues that unpaid care should be recognised as a form of social risk, one that societies must collectively plan for through shared responsibility and the pooling of life-cycle risks.
Unpaid care is not an economic opportunity to be exploited, but a social foundation to be protected.
