As i said im absolutely with you on the deeper logic regarding costs, depercitiation, deployment etc. All im pointing out is, the argument: "Nobody else is doing it, thus this aproach is faulty/wrong/a mistake" is absolutly stupid. And ur initial post sure sounds a lot like that.

Think about it: a single automaker @NIOGlobal globally, amongst dozens of automakers, thinks battery swapping is a good idea. The company which invented it, Tesla @Tesla , quickly walked away from the idea after realising that customers prefer charging over swapping batteries. So either everyone else including Tesla is st***d or that one company is st***d. Which is it?

This is possibly just the computer thinking it’s time for a tire rotation based on mileage, but not actually applicable here as this variant of Model 3 has staggered wheels…happened to me recently when I hit around 6250 miles - just had to log a “tire maintenance” to clear the alert. My tire tread was still ~6mm

Whoever had this loaner Model 3 Performance must have been ripping on it 7k miles and it already needs tires 🤣

@teslascope Found my first undocumented change. Went to supercharge, and I didn’t have to press the button on the charger handle. Since I navigated to it, it opened the charge port when I opened my door.

I think above a certain age you lose touch with the used car market because it's been so long since you were in the market for a beater. So let's be clear: there are NO CARS under $10,000 and 100,000 miles. NONE. Starship departs for Mars at the end of next year, carrying Optimus. If those landings go well, then human landings may start as soon as 2029, although 2031 is more likely.

Just drove the new @Tesla Model Y Launch Series. The suspension is incredibly smooth and the acoustic glass makes it very quiet inside…library levels of quiet. 🤫 Sound system is 🧑‍🍳 😘
