@chrishartZA So in your own assessment you think those 5k schools have all the required infrastructure and tools for conducive teaching and learning, the only thing needed is Elons internet? 😂 go research what rural schools need internet is probably no 10 on the list.

@FaraiMazhindu First of all you are probably not South African, I would not rule out being Elon’s bot. The video you attached is not even taken in South Africa. Lastly, we have laws, abide or go to lawless Countries and bully your way in. This is very simple.

The war on Starlink will be recorded as a pathetic, embarrassing chapter in the history of governance. There is no rational economic or technical justification for this blockade, only the stench of political insecurity. It reveals a nauseating truth, that politicians will gladly trade the progress of millions to massage their own egos and protect parasitic state monopolies and extortion systems. History will judge it as a cold blooded, deliberate act of sabotage against the future of an entire generation.

If you have not watched the BBC documentary on the killing of children in Gaza, I would implore you to please watch it. They documented over 160 cases. 95 of the children were shot in the head and chest. If this doesn't trigger you, nothing else will. youtu.be/orR7H8GnhCY?si…

OMG!! This journalist is reporting that Israel has slit the throats of ten children and placed them on the side of the road , all of whom were less than 5 years old. “I saw all of this with my own eyes; I am a witness to this thing.”

@elonmusk We do not care. South Africans always find a way. The gag is… your STARLINK will still not operate in our country if you do not comply with our laws!!

This bullshit with Iran now has serious WW3 consequences attached to it. We voted for an end to foreign wars, if Trump wants Bush level approval ratings. Starting shit with Iran is how he will get there. Having Congress vote might not even be an offramp now that I think about it because Israel owns 93% of Congress. Good luck to us all, we are going to need it Long Live The Republic

@PhumlaniMMajozi In every war, there will be collateral damage. The US bases in the UAE or Kuwait are intercepting ballistic missiles from Iran, and the debris is falling over civilian areas. The question is, why would Israhell and the USA think Iran should not retaliate when they started it?

Why is Iran attacking the UAE? To South African supporters of Iran: Do you see what this Iranian regime is? Stop supporting it! Stop supporting terror! #iran #geopolitics

Starlink has committed to a R500 million investment to connect 5,000 rural schools with free, high-speed internet, benefiting more than 2.4 million learners each year. But it is still on hold. Why? Because South African regulations require 30% local Black ownership for telecom licenses. South African farmers and rural communities are asking the government to approve Starlink. In many remote areas, there is no internet access at all, and people have to drive several kilometers just to get basic connectivity. The South African government is the enemy of its own people.
