My MIL told me the most distressing case of a young couple (our relative) who went to Thailand a couple of years back & rented a nanny there to babysit their kids (2 and 3 years old) for a night. The couple went out clubbing & came back in the morning only to find that their kids & nanny are gone. Those two kids were kidnapped by the nanny & were never found. I just cannot stop thinking about those kids😭

What’s even more worrying is that he encouraged two more neighbours to start trading. Now, they are losing money too. The problem isn’t F&O itself. The problem is believing that trading is easy money.

Last week, I filed my ITR. To my surprise, the interest accrued on the recurring deposits (RDs) of my minor children was clubbed with my income for tax purposes even though the RDs not matured yet. After tax, the effective return is barely 4–5%. Seriously considering closing both RDs. 😞 #IncomeTax #India

पारसी डेयरी फ़ॉर्म 110 साल पुरानी दुकान है। संभवत: मुंबई की सर्वाधिक साफ़-सुथरी दुकान है। मैं अक्सर जब दक्षिण मुंबई जाता हूँ तो इस दुकान से कुछ डेयरी प्रोडक्ट ख़रीदता हूँ। दुकान का मालिक हाइजीन में इतना विश्वास करता है कि अगर उसके दूध में कभी थोड़ी भी ख़राबी की शिकायत आई तो वह सैकड़ों लीटर दूध फेंक देता है। उस दुकान का लाइसेंस FDA ने सस्पेंड कर दिया है। यह सरासर ग़लत है। #ParsiDairyFarm
