Over the years, we've all seen takes about how successful creators and players shouldn't complain about anything because they have dream jobs and are more privileged than the typical person. I somewhat agree, mainly depending on the repetitiveness and delivery, but just like anything else, some nuance would do us all some good.
I'll use my Googling privilege by sharing a quote from Oscar Wilde: "In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it." We can use this to discuss how even those who might seem to have everything can obviously still face dissatisfaction with their life, career, and anything small or big in between-- it highlights the complexity of human desires and happiness. It's a reminder not to take our desires (or judgments of others) too seriously, because whether we fulfill them or not, we'll be looking at what's next with a similar lens.
It's probably best to disconnect our judgment of others from their current status in life. This isn't rocket science... by definition, this is about human nature😎
