Ilia Topuria says he’ll ask Islam Makhachev what his favourite submission is, and submit him with it in front of Khabib 😳
“D’Arce choke? I’m gonna submit you with that… I’ll take him close to Khabib. I will submit him close to Khabib.”

So we all know by now that it’s subpoena season. We can call him Gary Grinchler, I suppose.
Look at the bright side. If the government had everything it needed to prove its case, it wouldn’t need to be asking people whether evidence exists or not. So there’s that.
But I’m stuck wondering why, and so I spent some time looking at it from different angles, and I’m going to offer up one of a few thoughts I had.
The SEC is used to scumbags and scammers in crypto. SBF anyone? As another example, this sums up what they’re used to seeing, so they expect it to be happening everywhere: sec.gov/newsroom/press…
To be fair, they’re probably right most of the time – people are motivated by money, and they know most influencers get paid to promote products. To them, everyone is a scumbag or a scammer until proven otherwise. It’s their default position.
So, these subpoenas might make sense if you look at them from the perspective of government lawyers who can’t wrap their heads around the possibility that in rare cases, people do things without being paid to do them. Weird concept, I know. But lawyers are trained to ask these types of questions. They’re supposed to be able to consider alternate theories that don’t line up with their worldview, because sometimes those weird theories turn out to be true.
I honestly don’t think they understand that Hexicans do things because they believe in the community. They believe in the promise of Hex and PulseChain. They believe in the principles @RichardHeartWin teaches.
I’ve been here a while. I’ve talked to a lot of people. I’ve been on various channels. I’ve been to events. I’ve had dinners and drinks with a bunch of you. And I’ve never heard of anyone who got paid a dime by Richard. I’ve never heard of Richard subsidizing the development of someone’s crypto project. I’ve never heard of Richard paying for any postcards, graphic designs, postage, or anything else that costs money.
Hexicans print and mail postcards with their own money because they believe. I know this, because someone dropped some off at my house last weekend. They look great, btw!
Hexicans buy expensive streaming equipment with their own money because they believe, not because they’re being paid to promote Hex or PulseChain.
Hexicans make content because they believe, not because they’re getting paid to do it.
Hexicans put up websites that benefit the community because they believe, not because they’re expecting to make money off of those sites.
Hexicans create and host events with their own money because they believe.
As for me, nobody has ever paid my PACER bill, bought me a ticket to any of the events I’ve been to, or paid a dime of my travel expenses. I’ve never asked, and I never will. I do things here because I believe in our community and what we’re trying to build.
If Richard died or disappeared, Hexicans would still be doing the same things, because we all believe.
Eventually, the government will get responses to all of their subpoenas and realize that the people here aren’t like the ones they find everywhere else. They probably still won’t believe it, but it’ll be true. Let’s hope they’re smart enough to adjust their worldview to fit the facts, instead of trying to figure out how to cherry pick and twist facts into a pretzel to fit their theory.

This #pDAI stuff looks like some "hl3 confirmed" stuff RH warned us about when pulsechain was launching. I think a lot of people are going to get hurt by this. Good marketing for pulsechain, however.
