Abu Hanifa Dinawari was a Persian. The Kurds cannot claim him. The city of Dinawar was in Iran (it was destroyed by the Turkmen in 1172 AD). It wasn't even in the Zagros mountains. A Kurdish dynasty took control of the town briefly from 959 to 1015. But Al-Dinawari died in 895.

Gang, help me out. My best friend and I have been chums since we were 8 years old. Nearly 40 years of friendship. This isn’t an existential question as he’s a massive leftist and politically we disagree on almost everything and still get on. So don’t worry, answer freely. His case is that “From the river to the sea” is merely a call for somewhere to live for Palestinian Arabs, because the protesters are ignorant and don’t know the history of the region. My case is that it’s a call for the eradication of Israel. I’m not asking for confirmation at all. If I’m wrong, I want to know and amend my view. What do you think?
