@Hadoriel @kantasyy I used crusader as a softer way to try and explain it, but you can really pick any example where an aesthetic is very clearly tied to a specific concept or mythology. Could say "im a cat girl who doesn't mind cats, but I don't want to be associated with them" and it's the same .

It's no big deal what people pick to represent themselves, unless they're actually hurting somebody. People have their reasons
