The issue isn’t P2P itself. The issue is wording like “sell directly to us” when the trade is actually being matched with third-party traders who can reverse. Most sellers read “sell to us” and expect Skins to be the counterparty, not a routed third-party order. Traders need to clearly know who the counterparty is, when the sale is final, and what protection they have before clicking instant sell.

Skins operates as a P2P system, where buyers connect with sellers through Skins Pro to buy and sell skins. When an item is sold through the instant sell system, it is matched with the highest bid made by a trader to deliver the best prices.
