Whats your favourite ‘unpopular Bond’? For me I’m just never NOT in the mood to watch 1985’s #NowWatching A View To A Kill. Such a fun romp. I think it’s made me realise how important a good score is and how I can ignore other shortcomings if the score is good 😆 #JamesBond

@SirBylHolte It doesn't seem to be as wokified as other projects. I don't mind Javier as Cady. And in both Cape Fear movies I have seen, the lead male character(Peck, Nolte) is actually emasculated. That's kind of the point of the concept. That a strong man can be in jeopardy.

BRACE YOURSELVES: Apple TV is about to ruin the seminal classic “Cape Fear” with a 10-EPISODE series. The official description says a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden when Max Cady gets out of prison and wants vengeance. It even boasts Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg as executive producers. But come on. The original 1962 "Cape Fear" told the whole story in a tight 106 minutes. Scorsese’s 1991 remake did it in 128 minutes. Now Apple is stretching this taut thriller into nearly 600 minutes! That’s like taking a skeleton and pumping it full of fat until it’s morbidly obese. And we all know exactly what most of that extra runtime will be filled with: wokeness, political messaging, girlboss energy, and unnecessary backstory. Hell, they already race-swapped Max Cady! And because it’s Apple — whose brand is hating men and empowering women — we know Anna will be turned into the main focus while Tom gets reduced to a weak, failing husband in the background. They couldn’t leave one perfect thriller alone. They just had to “WOKIFY” it for "modern audiences." Great cast, and the trailer is engaging, but this is gonna be brutal to watch.
