I think Don Kelly tipped his hand with the morning show about Konnor Griffin. Kelly mentioned balancing development with limited minor league career, saying "finding the right time to make it happen." "When that time comes, it's going to be fun." I think Griffin begins in AAA.

Comparing the World Baseball Classic to the World Series or World Cup (FROM THAT STANDPOINT), come on now.. ..Why can't we just enjoy and celebrate the World Baseball Classic the way it is now, which is absolutely great for baseball. As you can see. Restrictions or not.

For a lot of Players, the WBC is the only true opportunity to Play/Represent your Country, your heritage, your roots. It's why you'll always see the passion and excitement. For what that means.. But don't get it twisted. This is an MLB event. (Cotnd)

@castrovince Francisco Cervelli told us he couldn’t even order a jersey for his wife. There’s no Italy gear anywhere!

The WBC was terrific, and Venezuela was a deserving winner with some of the most joyful, passionate fans I have ever seen. But guess which country’s hats were completely sold out at all the team shops in Miami? (Related: Anyone got a Italy hats for my family members?!)
