Fans of other clubs could be forgiven for thinking Dai Yongge is Reading FC’s sole owner. Let us introduce co-owner Dai Xiu Li, who was also KSV Roeselare’s owner. She reportedly pulled funding from the Belgian club and oversaw its demise. Sounds familiar, right? What happened next? Unfortunately, Roeselare went out of business. Now, Ms Dai seems to have abandoned us. Like her brother Mr Dai, she isn’t keen to be in the spotlight. But when a club is in danger, the culprits must be named. As you may have seen in the last post, we posted a letter through Dayong Pang’s letterbox on Friday. People remain concerned about the future of #readingfc and we asked some very serious questions to our CEO, also questioning what he said in the 2023 meeting with STAR/SBWD.

#ReadingFC fans call on EFL to urge owner Dai Yongge to communicate his reasons for rejecting “credible” bids for club amidst fears of player sales and administration. Fans hope "optimistically" that rejections mean negotiations with a “mystery bidder” continuing but also concerned about club being “unable to meet its financial obligations”. Becky Trotman @SellBeforeWeDai adds, “Points deductions, selling top talent without the means to replace them and entering administration would all detract from the club's value to any bidder. We see no reason why Dai Yongge would want this to happen, but we can imagine the fans of KSV Roeselare and Beijing Renhe had similar thoughts. We would love the club – as promised – to clarify at what stage the sale process is now at, but would also like to call on the EFL to lend their voice to the situation. How many more credible bids can be rejected without communication with the fans?”

The giant sports broadcaster will take live coverage of the Ultimate Pool Champions League, Pairs Cup and Mixed Pairs Cup with the first show going live on Monday January 8th 2024. This landmark deal for Ultimate Pool serves as an indication of the growing appetite for the game. Ultimate Pool will now showcase the world’s most exciting 8 Ball Pool on the most prestigious platform in the industry. Ultimate Pool Manging Director, Jordan Chavoush said: “We are delighted to secure this partnership with TNT Sports. This will help us to continue on our upward trajectory of exposure and to grow our brand by bringing the best 8 Ball Pool and biggest names in the game to our loyal and expanding fan base.” The deal will see TNT Sports take over from ViaPlay as the UK broadcaster for all Monday night Ultimate Pool shows, kicking off with the Ultimate Pool Champions League in January.
